Dr. Jessica Bertoglio is the owner and founder of the Toothery. She had the vision to create the Toothery in 2013 so that people could have a better dental experience. With 11 years of associate experience prior to opening the Toothery, she gained valuable skills in all phases of restorative dentistry and learned ways in which dentistry could be delivered in a more compassionate, efficient way. Every aspect of the Toothery was designed to be welcoming, comfortable, and as Dr. Jess says “not scary”. She also made it a priority to incorporate the newest, best technology to make the patient experience more comfortable.
Dr. Jess received her bachelors in Biology from University of Illinois in 1998 then continued at UIC College of Dentistry for her DDS degree. After dental school graduation in 2002 she did a year of hospital dentistry at the University of Iowa. This year in the hospital setting was instrumental for her love of learning surgery and working on medically compromised patients.
